E260: What is the Future of Field Service?

Taskbridge's innovation to take centre stage at Resco Next 2025

· PartnerTalks

Taskbridge, a specialized ISV within the generator industry, will take centre stage at Resco Next 2025 in Valencia, Spain, where training and marketing manager Natalie Locke is slated to present on route optimization for residential dealers.

Founded five years ago as an in-house solution for Nixon Power Services, Taskbridge has grown from a niche industrial sales tool into a comprehensive platform serving industrial, residential, rental, and field service operations.

“We had a lot of other companies that were coming to us and were like, 'Hey, there's something. There's something that you’ve got a secret sauce for,'” said Locke in a recent PartnerTalks interview. “And so, we decided to expand that and monetize it into Taskbridge, which it is now.”

Locke said a key component of Taskbridge’s success has been its partnership with Resco, whose mobility platform enables technicians to operate fully offline, which she said is critical in remote or signal-compromised environments typical in generator servicing. According to Locke, Resco’s form capabilities and ability to generate branded PDF inspection reports with before-and-after photos have been major selling points for customers seeking transparency and professionalism in field service.

Taskbridge to Unveil Innovation at Resco Next 2025

Locke’s upcoming presentation at Resco Next will focus on how Taskbridge’s implementation of route optimization, integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service and displayed via Resco, has helped small residential dealers boost efficiency.

“Residential dealers are smaller companies, typically around 10 people, but they have a lot of work orders they have to get to,” Locke said. “With route optimization, we’ve built different (work order) priority levels so that the coordinator just has to optimize the route. It does 80 per cent of he work for them.”

Beyond sharing her company’s case study, Locke said she is eager to engage with industry peers and Resco developers on AI’s growing role in technician workflows, particularly its potential to enhance inspection processes and decision-making in the field.

Resco Next 2025 takes place May 20–21 at the Valencia Conference Centre, with pre-conference sessions on May 19.
