DynamicsMinds got it right the first time, says organizer Mira Razman.
The annual conference completed its second run last month, and Mira says the formula continues to work.
“It’s reassuring to say that we can still rely on the original vision we set for ourselves,” she says. “DynamicsMinds is a knowledge-sharing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform community conference. Another thing we are excited about is the balance between sessions, networking opportunities, side events and, of course, beach parties. We plan to maintain both – knowledge and balance.”
While maintaining the conference’s core tenets, Mira says the organizers work hard to grow the event.
In its second year, DynamicsMinds grew by nearly 400 attendees, reaching a total of 983 people from 47 countries. The organizers added a pre-conference day, with 18 hands-on workshops, and, during the conference, they executed a new Partner BizTrack for Microsoft Partners.
In total, attendees took part in 214 sessions. Microsoft delivered 42, MVPs hosted 117, and the event’s sponsors presented 29.
“This year, we addressed Artificial Intelligence through art, music, science, and philosophy,” Mira says. “We learned that the D365 community is very interested in what others have to say about a seemingly purely technical topic. (That’s) something we also want to integrate next year.”
Next year’s conference will take place, for the third time, in Portorož, Slovenia. Mira says the location is ideal, and not just because of the ocean view.
“DynamicsMinds covers all the pillars of Dynamics 365 bizapps and Power Platform, making it the only conference of its kind in Europe and one of the few in the world,” she says. “We add some spice in the form of venue, networking, inclusion, and beach parties. The result is a comprehensive and unique DynamicsMinds experience.”
If the past two years' success is any indication, the “spice” DynamicsMinds organizers add seems to be the right flavour.
